Since the publication of the National Strategy for Local e-Government in November 2002, the ODPM has made significant progress towards its SR2002 Public Service Agreement target of assisting local government to achieve 100 per cent capability in electronic delivery of priority services by 2005, in ways that customers will use.
In support of this vision C3 Professional Services has created a dedicated public sector support division to address the needs of local authorities and help them achieve these targets. Through an impressive track record of delivery, working in partnership with support bodies such as the implementation support unit (ISU) and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM), C3 has developed the right tools and created a proven approach to deliver success.
Following on from the release of the IEG4: Delivering e-Government Benefits 2005 Status Report, and to make the task of achieving a 100% score even easier, C3 has developed the PMID 157 Project Management Information Database, which works in conjunction with the ESD-Toolkit. The management information tool, dynamically reports the status of each of the contributing projects, and details how they are impacting on the overall progress towards the target by December 2005 |
