Following on from a rigours process of accreditation C3 Professional Services and it's lead e-Government consultants have been accredited by the IDEA to deliver toolkit training on their behalf.
Do to our considerable knowledge of e-government and involvement with the national projects we are only one of seven companies deemed to have the appropriate level of knowledge and experience to deliver training to local authorities who are committed to ensuring that they are addressing the fullness of reporting on this ket strategic target.
- Esd-toolkit is fundamentally based around the services a council delivers to its citizens. The list of services which has been recognised nationally is called the local government services list or the LGSL
- The list has been set up in a tree structure called the core tree and has the individual services as the leaf nodes with service areas and divisions as branches
- A local authority officer can register with esd-toolkit for free of charge and gain access to this core tree.
- Esd-toolkit can automatically report BVPI 157 and it is this facility that is used the most by authorities at the moment.
- The ODPM have asked authorities to use esd-toolkit to submit IEG returns as well as the annual efficiency returns so that they can analyse submissions far more efficiently
- esd-toolkit is developed by and for local authorities with a local authority represented steering group providing the governance.
